Voteplay ("we", "us", or "our") operates the voteplay.app platform. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you participate in polls and fan engagement activities on our platform.

Session ID (sid) — a temporary identifier stored as a cookie that expires after 30 minutes, used to track a single browsing session.
Persistent ID (pid) — a long-term anonymous identifier stored as a cookie that expires after 365 days, used to recognise returning visitors.
Poll responses — the answers you submit to polls.
Referrer URL — the page you visited before arriving on our platform.

3. How We Use Your Information

To operate polls and record your participation.
To measure platform performance and user engagement.

4. Cookies

We use two first-party cookies:

Session data is retained for 90 days for analytics purposes.
Anonymous identifiers (pid) are retained for up to 2 years.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights or to opt out of tracking, please contact us at privacy@voteplay.app. You can also clear your cookies at any time through your browser settings.

8. Data Deletion Policy

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Voteplay at any time. To submit a deletion request:

Send an email to privacy@voteplay.app with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
Include any relevant identifiers such as your session or persistent cookie ID if known.
We will acknowledge your request within 3 business days.

We are committed to completing all verified deletion requests within 14 days of receipt. Once deleted, your personal data will be permanently removed from our systems and cannot be recovered.

9. Children's Privacy

Our platform is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes.
